Please publicise this petition more widely so all who usually support Labour can see it. The Labour Party is making a big mistake not supporting women's sex-based rights!! They will lose women, men who support their rights, and many concerned trans-identifying people who realise women's sex-based rights need to be protected.

I applaud the bravery of the women and girls who are daring to speak out in the face of bullying. I suspect that any number of Labour MPs are self-censoring for fear of being hounded out of the party. Labour gifted the last election to the Tories by ignoring the concerns of working class voters. Now that the party leadership seems hell bent on doing the same thing to women in general how on earth can we expect to ever get elected again?

Labour must allow sex based rights to be addressed or you risk having the next election hijacked by this issue and stand to lose again! None of us need another Tory government.

I've not been to meetings for some time and was considering resigning from the party over this women's issue even though I have stuck with the party through some tough times. I have been a member since about 1993.

Women of working age don’t feel able to speak out about supporting this because of the fear of losing their jobs. There have to be more ways for us to show support anonymously until our views are given the respect they deserve.

I worry for my grandson’s future and the future of all our children! They will not know which sex they are…they will not be involved in sport with a level playing-field.

I won’t ever vote Labour again if our sex based rights are not protected. I have never ever voted conservative but would consider it if our rights would be protected and it was a manifesto issue. I am worried about the lack of open debate and the trolling of critical feminists. I wrote an email to Keir Starmer about this and never got a response which is very disappointing.

Our rights as women are being eroded by the trans culture there are only two biological sexes a man cannot become a woman A woman doesn’t have a penis!

Unless the Labour Party turn away from gender self-identification and commit to upholding women only services and spaces, after a life-time of voting Labour, I shall never vote for them again. Women's safety is paramount.
