I'm a life-long Labour voter left politically homeless by Labour's refusal to support women's sex-based rights. The erasure of the very word "woman" from Labour's discourse is chilling. I am also disabled, and invite Labour to imagine how it would be if the rights of people who "identify" as disabled were given precedence over the rights of people who ARE disabled. This is a reasonable analogy that needs emphasising.

I have always voted Labour - sadly they have lost my vote due to this issue. Every day I hear of more intimidation and abuse towards women in the name of transgender rights. This is a deeply dangerous mysoginistic and homophobic ideology that seeks to manipulate and damage our children and remove all power from women. I have never been involved in activism but this has rocked my reality and threatens the freedoms of my sex. I'm angry and so is almost every woman I speak too.

I feel politically homeless now - can’t vote for a party that doesn’t care to protect women as a class - and if the Labour Party can’t understand sex class, how is it going to resolve the inequality between the social classes if it can’t or won’t identify the most basic and fundamental class

I am sick to death of being told that men can magically become exactly the same as women and therefore women have to shut up and give up our rights to single sex spaces because we must affirm them. I am sick of fetishists forcing children to drink their drug induced fake "breast milk" and admitting to being aroused by the process, yet being "celebrated" for blatant child abuse regardless of harm it could cause the child. I am sick of the trans lobby trying to trans and sexualise children, they are far too young to consent to this medicalised child abuse and the attempts to introduce sexual ideas to children is pedophilia under the guise of "wokeness". I am also sick of the munchausen by proxy abusive excuses for parents encouraging their children to go onto a course of sterilisation for woke points on social media, these people need to be in prison. I am also sick of the misogyny from the trans lobbyists where they threaten to rape (how very feminine!) beat up or intimidate and try to "cancel" anyone who raises concerns, they also bully and harass anyone who dares to leave the cult by de-transitioning and speaking up about the damage caused by the cult. The TRA lobby are psychotic authoritarians that need to be brought under control. Stonewall needs to be defunded and dismantled, they are no longer fit for purpose. They are now an anti woman organisation and pro child abuse and men's sexual rights organisation. They have become dangerous.

Please help to stop creating opportunities for labour policy to be ridiculed on this matter..

Lifelong Labour voter here who will never again vote for Labour whilst it has anti-women policies like this. You come across as disingenuous and constantly arguing in bad faith, as well as misogynistic and sexist, and COMPETELY UNTRUSTWORTHY. Long may you never get back into power whilst you act this way.

Gender is a social construct. It must not and cannot supersede the material reality that humans are a dimorphic species. Of course the rights and dignity of trans people must be protected. But, this must not be done in a way that compromises the right of women to live in safety, with dignity and with full autonomy.

Recent policy changes and self ID is making me politically homeless. They’re a deal breaker. I won’t vote Labour whilst this continues.

I NEVER thought I would be politically homeless. However much I support Labour in every other way, I cannot vote for a party that doesn't recognise biology over gender and fight for women's sex based rights. It has to change or we will be stuck with a corrupt Tory government forever

Confusion between sex and gender leaves women and girls (female humans) vulnerable and open to abuse. Keep sex as the protected characteristic and no Self -ID.

I am horrified that the Labour party, once a champion of women's rights, now fails to acknowledge the existence of the female sex - the Labour leader does not even appear to know what a woman is. The sex of a person is a biological fact which is incontrovertible and protected under the Equality Act. The Labour party - indeed all political parties - must recognise that gender is a human construct which is liable to manipulation by biological (and intact) males to access women-only spaces and activities. Women's rights are human rights and stifling the debate in the name of trans rights is fundamentally wrong.

I have voted Labour for 34 years. It is increasingly difficult to do so & no one in the party is listening to why. My 16 year old daughter is severely learning disabled & always will be. She has no mental capacity, or ability to consent or bear witness. Her intimate care at school & with other service providers takes place behind closed doors, with 1:1 lone workers. Single sex exceptions are *vital* to her safeguarding & dignity.

Real women are being phased out; the first step, getting them to deny their own existence, is almost complete. I do not currently feel that the labour party is protecting or trying to protect women (adult human females). Members of the labour party (including females) refuse to define a women - why? Because they are scared of Stonewall etc will publicly attack them. Women's oppression has always been about oppressing the female sex. People have sexed bodies, females are oppressed because of their sex and that the gendered system is the newest form that the patriarchy is using to push women into a submissive role - and silencing them in the process, it comes down to male privilege. The erasure of women or female terminology in our language (such as birthing human) is dehumanising and degrading - funnily enough men and male terminology stays appropriate?! There are other concerning language changes include 'Sex assigned at birth' (a completely inappropriate and inaccurate change) Sex is not assigned at birth, it's merely observed at birth. And others such as 'gender' pay gap, also inappropriate it's the pay gap between the sexes. Within only a few years, we will stop knowing what the rate of sex-selective abortion of female fetuses is, or in what regions those rates are highest. We will lack any verifiable data on the oppression of women and girls. We will not know what the wage gap is between sexes, and we will not be able to make data-based arguments for programs that support women and girls. It will mean that data on male violence against women will become nonexistent. Accuracy in allocating funds to sex-specific healthcare needs will be drastically reduced by lack of accurate data. Mixed-sex prisons will be everywhere and, female prisoners will likely commit suicide before or after being subjected to multiple sexual assaults in a day, and constant harassment, the lack of appropriate facilities. What will not change: Males will know that

If we can't talk about sex, we can't talk about sexism.

For me, it’s vital that women’s rights under the Equality Act 2010 are protected, promoted and unambiguous. Any Law that threatens or diluted these rights must be questioned, clarified and legally resolved.
