LABOUR WOMEN'S DECLARATION

Filia conference brought this excellent petition to my attention.

Do we really have to say that woman = adult human female, and that women's rights are human rights? Apparently we do. Stop bowing down to the abuse from trans "rights"activists. They are protected in law. They are trying to remove women's Rights. We need to take a stand against this

Female-only spaces such as changing rooms, hospital wards, sanitary and sleeping accommodation, refuges, hostels and prisons should be limited to the female sex only. Women have the right to participate in single-sex sports, to ensure fairness and safety at all levels of competition. Every time that a sports facility is planned its must be planned to allow both sexes to enjoy. The only exceptions may where both sexes can compete on equal standing (table tennis?)

Unions have lost their compass. They can no longer be trusted to represent women fully Protect and safeguard them from predation in the workplace. Abide by the law

Former Labour Party member. Left due to failure of party to uphold biological rights and failure to protect MPs who did so.

I commend this declaration and reject any incursion into female only spaces by males and males who identify as women.

I have seen no scientific evidence that anyone can be "born into the wrong body." Until doctors can agree that it is possible it should be impossible for anyone to legally change sex.

Please keep trans women out of women's single sex spaces. Trans should be free from bullying and intimidation, but the reality is that they cannot change sex and trans women will still be men

Only human adult females are Women. Eventually the Labour leadership should confirm this and stop pandering to Trans Activists

We need to be both tough and vocal in the coming months.

Women's rights are going backwards. I hope the Labour government is prepared to work towards stopping the decline.

Sex based rights matter

I have signed this more in hope than expectation that this awful iteration of the Labour Party will be on the side of women and girls and protect our sex based rights. I am not hopeful and I detest Starmer

Gender identity is a social construct and it is harmful because it is based on sexist prejudiced roles, expression and performance also cultural and social norms. It is an internal sense of belief and a perception therefor no one should be compelled to believe and partake in it not socially or legally. Sex is a naturally occuring phenomenon and is not assigned, it is observed at birth (human observation). Women are subject to discrimination based on their sex and should have the right to private assembly and a range of legal protections.

The Labour Party will only get my vote if they take a stand for women and women’s rights to single sex spaces

Been a surprising rise of antiquated anti women rhetoric since pre brexit about that time. Ideals that womens' role is defined by domesticity and traditional views. Even mothers like myself have had our basic rights removed. Britishness is not only about promoting women in arts as modern to the globe its about allowing all women basic human rights in the uk. Stopping discrimination within the basic institutions such as education and the work place by sexist ideologies peddled by men who sometimes ask women to do this for them. Imperative that being woman is respected as a femininity, as motherhood, and to keep safe girls, teenagers and young women from predators online and in person.Within this, imperative that toilets, are provided for women .That a womans body is not up for discussion in the work canteen or in offices or work place. disturbing bullying remarks about a womens body due to age whatever that is , held against her e.g. pmt moody . pregnant no breast feeding , looking down on mothers, then the fuss about menopause by offices turning on air conditioning getting youger staff to question older staff about feeling hot mimicking fanning themselves, these all results of misguided info peddled by this Conservative gov. Not all 'suffer' . Irrespective of this no women should be gossiped about or bullied because of her age or marital status. Old fashioned ideologies come into and being used within British culture, esp within last decade. Almost feminine, racism . Discrimination is used against mothers and girls in education system by staff very sexist. 2. TUN Rights are not used in the uk because by time gets anywhere the uk authorities have run with negative stopped any equality from taking place. Means nothing now.. UK goes so far as to float any rights this stops the UN Declaration being enforced. 3. Within house or within work place UK has subtly made it common place for this not be adhered to. 4. It is essential that the Labour Party, once in power, come under continued scrutiny and pressure to clarify their position regarding this vital subject.

I applaud your efforts. I will not vote for Labour again until this appalling misogyny is excised from the party. I cannot comprehend how and why the Party has been perverted by this pernicious ideology
