On November 20th, 2011 the LA Galaxy won the MLS Cup in their home stadium the Home Depot Center in front of 30,000 rabid fans. The Galaxy were the only Los Angeles sports team to win a major sports championship in 2011. The team boasts players from around the world including American icon Landon Donovan, English superstar David Beckham and Irish legend Robbie Keane.
The LA Times currently has devoted sports sections for the Anaheim Angels and Ducks. There is NO section devoted to the LOS ANGELES Galaxy.

LA is a galaxy town. need more than just a little blurb in the back pages.
They cover the ducks but ignore the mls champs? ridiculous. give g's the respect they earned.

LONG OVERDUE. The galaxy bring so much energy to this city and we deserve way better coverage in our local paper.
