Let people walk their dogs on a lead !

More places are required in Sydney where we can live harmoniously with our pets!

Dogs are wonderful companion animals and they deserve and love to have fun on the beach and also local parks. Let us enjoy our lives together. Educate people about dogs. Encourage the few lazy PEOPLE to clean up after their own dogs.

Everyone should have the right to walk there dog on lead on the beach and must pick up there poo if needed

I want to walk my dog around my home town with out getting a fine

Have spent many relaxing hours walking my dog on his lead along this beach. It would be a crime to take complete access away.

Kurnell is a social active, beautiful part of the world! It’s also our family town with a dog who has always loved the beach. Sliver beach has always been a dog or horse beach. It would be the responsibility of the owners to put a lead on the pets. Fine the people who dumped their rubblish here! Not family pets!

All my life I've seen people walking their dogs on Kurnell beach. I don't see what the big deal is really. Just leave it be.

We should be allowed to walk our dogs on the beach on a lead.

Been using the beach for 20 years and 7 dogs....why do the new residents have priority over long term shire residents using this dedicated area

Kurnell is our town so should be our rules with in reason of course how ever a parkland should be utilised by residents and pets I’m sure petroleum plants and tip sites pose more of a threat than a dog of a leash but again we do need petrol and tip sites too

Don't change Kurnell we are happy with how it is. This will affect our family time on the beach wih our pets

there is s huge community of dog owners in the sutherland shire. its healthy for the dog and its owner to enjoy the great place we live in. allow the dogs to be walked on the beach! and perhaps this could pave the way for other areas..... maybe Wanda beach in winter when no one is on it ! look at other areas in Australia, there are a lot more dog friendly councils.

I believe responsible use of Silver Beach for dogs on a leash should be allowed. Also horse access in restricted hours.

As a kurnell resident i want to be able to enjoy our beach with my children and my dog in a safe, respectful way.

As a previous resident of Kurnell for 36yrs and having had my child hood growing up there we had freedom of being able to walk swim and ride our dogs or horses, these two particular animals gave Kurnell is unique lifestyle, so please explain why council after all these years want to stop it we our Kurnell was the unwanted village for so many years is it because living here has become so wanted that they are wanting to stop residence from enjoying there god given right to have a life. I now reside in Tasmania but I smile every time I think if of swimming my horse walking and running on the beach. We always rode in morning b4 9 am aftern after 4pm , give people some dignity as we aren't stupid we are all sensible dog and horse owners. The Shire was once great no more when u stay to do things like this in fining people who walk there dogs etc on a beach that no one cared about people smeared when u sneered and made fun of you when they found out where u lived. KURNELL is one in a million. I'm so sad to see so many long time resident who are being hurt by this so well done in organising this petition and rally if I could be there I'd want a front spot .
