Part of the reason for living in Kurnell is the small community feel. I am a responsible dog owner that always picks up after my dog and while walking along the beach will not hesitate to pick up rubbish along the way. I don’t see why we can’t have designated hours where we can enjoy the mostly empty shores of Kurnell.

I am in support of off lead, when the beach is empty. If I need to have my dog on a lead, I can stay on the footpath.

We live in Kurnell and live the fact that we have an empty beach to walk out dog. It’s part of the reason we choose to live here. Don’t take this away from us!!!

Live and let live, why are humans constantly stopped from their recreational passions, let our dogs and horses on tbe beach.

Kurnell Beach is usually isolated at most times duirng the year. It is only on weekends in mid summmer that people are at the beach on the weekends. It is ridiculous that Council is even considering that we cannot walk our dogs on a beach that is unoccupied. I am appauled that you would even consider this. Not enough off leash areas in the shire. Perhaps you could have an area for people to walk their dogs like two or three breakwalls at one end. Its a very unique place where you could take your dogs and have horses being ridden up and down the beach. If dog poo is your problem, there is more rubbish left by humans on the beach than dog poo. Please dont spoil this little part of the shire too.

Kurnell is the ideal place. It always has been and our pets love and should enjoy it too.

Yes we need more on lead walking areas and Kurnell is a great place for this
