Water is essential for drinking, showing, watering plants, feeding animals, making food, making clothes, making EVERTHING, if we did not have water we would not be alive. We are all made out of water! We are running out of water because we are wasting water and polluting! Every 8 seconds 1 child dies of water born diseases. Half of the world hospital beds are filled with people suffering from water born diseases! We are overpopulating earth, 4 people are born and 2 people die every second. That makes 2 extra people on Earth every second! Our class has promised to take action to conserve water, please read our promises and sign our pledge if you agree! We promise: 1. We won't throw trash where it doesn't belong. 2. We will turn off the tap when we brush our teeth 3. We will turn off the tap when we wash our hands. 4. We will have smaller baths and shorter showers. 5. We will finish our drinks. 6. We will try not to waste our meals. 7. We will only use one paper towel to dry our hands at school.
