The Board of Health was established to protect the health of the public!

Public health issues cannot be made subject to the whims of politics. Those who safeguard our community should not have to deal with pleasing a fickle electorate.

Thank you Board of Health for serving our community and making the difficult decisions necessary to keep us safe!

I trust the Knox County BoH to make sound decisions for the health of our community.

I appreciate the expertise of the Board of Health and their guidance. Their work should not be undermined nor should anyone send mixed messages that confuse the public about the facts or distort the truth.

Support science and facts...the Health Department is not the enemy! Why is this even a question?

Pandemics need to be monitored by Science not Commerce

While sometimes not reacting strongly enough, the BoH guidelines are better suited to dealing with this virus than the county mayor’s mean rhetoric and hollow suggestions.

As a registered nurse at UT Medical Center Knoxville I support the mask mandate. It is unfair for folks to be allowed to infect tons of people and then some of those people come to me where I can get infected when I'm wearing a mask 12+ hours a day. If you can't wear a mask stay home.

Healthy people create a healthy economy, not the other way around. We should be following the advice of medical experts.
