Our anti science mayor must be stopped!!

Science isn’t a political act! The Board of Health should maintain oversight and we need to let them do their jobs. Mayor Jacobs is a dangerous and acting politically, not in the community’s best interest. Remove him from office."

I support science and informed decision making; I supporte the embattled members of the Knox County Board of Health.

The board of health has the health and well-being of our citizens at the forefront. Being removed by people who do not have the sense to listen to science is ridiculous. If we would have followed health professionals guidance from the beginning, we could be in a better place like other states and countries. As it is, I see no end to this virus in Knox county’s near future.

Very grateful for all your good work and for your alliance with science vs political agendas.

We need the BOH and their policies!

I want to see decisions in health policy made by trained professionals whose major concern is community health not by elected officials who are subject to pressures having nothing to do with health.

Please continue the mask mandate. As one with a compromised health issue, I can only spend my money in Knoxville with a mask on. Masks protect others as well as myself.

Enthusiastically in support of each of you and the role of expert guidance in government. We need you!

The Board has served the city and county well in very challenging times. We should grateful for their commitment to the health of Knoxvillians and to their service.

Hoping we can make informed decisions to help people stay healthy so we can move forward to an economy that can stay open.

So thankful for having a local board of health to guide us in this pandemic. So upset at Mayor Jacobs and some commissioners trying To unauthorize the Board’s ability to protect the health of our community.
