Knox Countians Support Knox County Board Of Health

I strongly support this petition. Leave the decisions to the Knox County board of health.

The board is doing a good job in an extremely difficult time. They need to remain independent and able to make decisions to protect the community.

This is one occasion in which it is impossible to please 2 diametrically opposing views. But thank you to the Board for putting the health of Knox County residents at the forefront of their actions

I have no problem leaving the decisions for my public health and safety up to the experts! Please keep politics out of the decision-making process.

The Board of Health has done an outstanding job of making tough decisions intended to keep as many people as possible healthy and it is their actions that have played an important role in keeping our economy moving. As a small business owner in Knox County I fully support The Board of Health. I need to stay open! If I contract COVID my business will be shut down for a minimum of two weeks and I will be without income to support my family.

Politics does not and should not “trump” science. Regardless of who is supported politically, our health board provides sorely needed guidance and should be kept intact. Deleting them is a partisan act by desperate people.

I stand with the Board of Health and their authority. It's a shame that the County Commission and the Mayor have put us in such a position that we have to affirm this point. Thanks to the Board for protecting the health and safety of all county citizens.
