They finally confirmed that a Kmart is coming to our area. I am still processing the news but I am incredibly grateful to everyone who helped push for this outcome. We can finally stop driving all the way to Manukau for our basic essentials.

Kmart needs to come to Franklin, and heres why:
Franklin is one of the fastest growing areas in Auckland with developments happening rapidly in areas such Bombay, Pokeno, Patamahoe, and the wider Pukekohe area, not to mention areas such as Drury and Karaka. The closest Kmart for Franklin residents is at Manukau Supa Centa northwards or in the south Te Rapa in Hamilton, while these are handy, it would be much easier for residents to have one within easy reach in the Franklin area. Customers from Franklin, Papakura and those south of the Bombay hills would not have as far to go. It would hugely benefit Kmart too as customers will have more choice as to where to go. Cases where customers need to grab something in a hurry and don't have time to travel to a Kmart they of course go to either The Warehouse, Farmers, or ,somewhere local,if there was a Kmart close by then they could go there instead.
We ask that Kmart open a store in Franklin.

Seeing one hundred people agree that we need a Kmart here is honestly overwhelming. I have been driving back and forth to Manukau for years and it feels good to finally do something about it.

Driving all the way to Manukau for basic essentials is getting impossible with how fast our area is growing. We are almost at one hundred signatures so please post this link to your local community groups right now to help us break through that mark.

Kmart is very economical store and with growing fuel prices, we want it’s branch in Pukekohe. It would be fortunate for population staying in Franklin region
Kmart needs to come to Pukekohe! No one is willing to travel into the Auckland traffic as it is chaos and takes 3 times as long to get there these days. There is so much potential business out this way!
I travel from Pukekohe to Kmart in Manukau or Papatoetoe but only go when I really want or need something specific from Kmart otherwise I go to The Warehouse in Pukekohe. I would visit Kmart very often if it was in Pukekohe and would not shop at The Warehouse at all.
Kmart would be so Beneficial for buying local, keeping more Cars OFF that nasty motorway. Would employ many local people looking for work.. and give similar stores that have run of the market a run for their money and help to bring down prices for everyday needed items. Kmart we need you, Vanessa
Traveling an hour to get to a Kmart is ridiculous. The Warehouse doesn't always have what you need and Farmers is just daylight robbery. Bring a Kmart to Pukekohe and you won't regret it.

Please bring Kmart to Pukekohe , it'd the only store I can afford to buy clothes for my friendly giant children. They are growing taller and clothes don't last same with shoes. Thank you kindly
