Learned to fly there over 40 years ago. Paul and Tom were instrumental in me becoming an Air Force Pilot. I will be forever indebted I certainly support the mane change in honor of a true American hero and legend

Paul Fournet was an icon in aviation in Acadiana , it would be a great honor to see Paul Fournet Field in Lafayette . I think it would be a proud service to all those involved directly and indirectly with aviation in SW Louisiana !!

Paul was my father-in-law; he did not live to meet and know my eleven grandchildren, his great grandchildren... It is right and fitting that they get to see his memory honored by this name change.

I am in support of this petition 100%! I believe that we were able to grow and become the city that we are today because of Paul Fournet's efforts to bring quality air service to Lafayette!
