I remember growing up going to the airport many times with my Dad. To me, the airport was Paul Fournet Air Service.

Paul Fournet helped our Dad get his civilian pilot's license after the got out of the Navy after WWII.

I strongly support adding "Paul Fournet Field" to the Regional Airport's name. After my dad returned from WWII, Mr. Fournet was involved in helping him obtain his pilots license. He always spoke highly of Mr. Fournet.

When i was a kid. My dad and I would go to Paul Fournet hanger. Look at the planes and occasionally get a ride. Good times...

i had the privledge of knowing mr. paul as he and my dad were good friends. i was luckey enough to take flying lessons in the late 60s and early 70s while attending usl.
