I can't think of a better way to honor Paul and the Fournet family. He was a pioneer of aviation for Lafayette, a pillar in the community and his legacy should be carried forward. Paul Fournet Field it should be!

Mr. Paul Fournet IS responsible for Lafayette haviing an airport, is nearly a literal truth. ANY honorable recognition that may be given him is well deserved. This effort is one of those ab out which we say, "better late than never!" The airport should be named in his honor.

Mr. Fournet's name has long been synonymous with the Lafayette Airport and aviation in the Lafayette area. I great individual who gave so much to so many for so many years. I could not think of anyone more deserving.
