At a time of distress and worry having lost a loved one the last thing an individual needs is to worry about funding a burial. There is no valid justification for a hike in cost, but the detriments and downsides are plentiful

The increase is unacceptable due to the fact it will be extra burden on already greaving family members. Kirklees should have consulted all relevent parties well before pushing this through.
