Kirklees Bereavement Price Hike

Breavment should not be hiked it's very sad and I am totally against it

Rip offff. R.i.p. Take every last penny before u go into the ground. Robbing basterds

If this is for all colours and religions ? And by 2021 Kirklees will be collecting my bins every six months and I probably have no street lights either ! Great people we have running our town !

I am against the new proposal as it is not fair.

This is a very unfair non inflationary rise

As we, the residents of Kirklees, are already making a very high volume of payments towards taxes and other applied costs while we are living & working, please us can you let us rest in peace when deceased. Please have a heart & be compassionate towards the dearly departed, their families and all their loved ones.; by not making such high increases in the Burial costs & other related costs. I am sure you will be sure you will be be sympathetic towards request. Thank you.

Easy targets

The price hike is unfair at a time when you have lost a loved one.

Unacceptal and most of the graves are publicly owned and services provided by council are publicly funded.. we require transparency and audit of any inflationary increase!!!

Totally unfair and unjustified to drastically increase prices by this extent. Will hit the already deprived community. Councilors should remember there responsibility to reflect they represent their constituents and their fears.

Not good for poor people

It's extorunate for a hike such as this

Shame on local councillors who kept this quiet and did not bring to attention of the community affected . They should bury their heads in shame.
