Kirkland City Council needs to stick to the agreed upon 20 year plan

Following agreed upon growth plans should be maintained, zoning should be maintained to support our neighborhoods.

I fully support this petition.

To much growth is not good for any area.

Our neighborhood will be greatly impacted by the Contenintal Divide Project. I can’t imagine more traffic on 132ndNE & 85th

I totally support this petition. Plus, not only do you give out permits to bulldoze down smaller, more affordable homes, but you let the big builders also remove all the old growth trees on those lots too. What happened to the part of the plan that included maintaining those trees?? Once they are gone, they are gone, and cannot be replaced.

I support and request that the city continue with the previously agreed upon plan. The existing zoning in South Rose Hill/Bridle Trails and North Rose Hill should remain as it is currently zoned.

I have never seen more evidence of a "money talks" group of city leaders. The voices of residents are not heard by this group. I, and others, are embarrassed by, and ashamed of those who dare to say they represent Kirkland residents.

Stay with the existing zoning in our neighborhoods. Kirkland will not be desirable place to live if we have excessive density.

I completely agree no more growth to our area.

I believe we should engage in dialog, come up with a plan that everyone agrees with, then honor that plan. This happened in 2013 -15, now the city must honor that plan. I strongly object to the new, high-density development in a single-family neighborhood as proposed by the city, totally disregarding their former agreement with the citizens and residents of the entire North Rose Hill community.

Please honor the plan agreed upon in 2015. Thank you!

What works in Totem Lake may not be appropriate for Bridle Trails. No One Size Fits All approach to development. Get and act on resident input for big development plans.

Kirkland is going out of control in new development and this is irreversible once established...

We need wider streets to prevent congestion.

Stay with 20 year growth plan. Putting in higher density housing along 85th before fixing traffic problems is putting the cart before the horse. Also putting in proposed building which is in the planning stages on the corner of 85th and 132nd makes no sense. People living there will need to use cars to do everything since there is no shopping and very few restaurants in walking distance.

Please follow the original plan for Bridle Trails Center and stick with growth as planned in the Totem Lake area.
