I grew up in Kingsgate, and swam for the Kingsgate Royals. The name is rooted within the community.

We do not want to be associated with the medical center we have become. We are proud residents since 1964 and we love Kingsgate!

I have lived at Kingsgate for around 9yrs. I have always wanted to live in the neighberhood since I was little, its a desirable location, for me and my kids, and to change the name to anything else would cheapen the atraction to why I wanted to move here in the first place. Location, Location, Location, plus history.

We voted against being incorporated into Kirkland many times, but still got swolled up into it. Now they want us to be part of them, again against our wish's.

A simple majority vote of people who showed up for a meeting is not how democracy works. All people affected need an opportunity to voice their opinion.
