We need our post office as sometimes we have to drive to tullamore for a stamp.. often went to po in geashil and the p.o. opens and closed at different times

I grew up in this village..the postmaster was such a charachter and brought the village together. It was paramount to village life and I hope it reopens to keep communities alive.

It was a huge loss to the village when it closed. For some elderly people it was their only point of contact on a daily basis with the community outside of their own home. I would welcome it and use it twice weekly for work purposes if not more often.
