Keeping this local po open not only keeps the local area alive but also keeps jobs within the delivery section of the po. As a post person I alway got valued information from the local post offices especially when someone new moved into the village etc... Keeping this local keeps it Irish and much more personal, something which I think is being fizzled out in our country.. It think it's opportunities like this where we need to come together and keep our irishness alive while also promoting our local villages and employment. Fingers crossed for a positive result.
