It is time to rethink our energy policy. We need to start putting ordinary people and our beautiful countryside before wind developers

Stop the madness, how can our political representatives allow this to happen to our communities.

we are strongly opposed to this proposed wind farm on the grounds it will have serious detrimental effects on the quality of life of autistic and other mentally challenged members of our community.

even if no turbines are proposed near your home - you should support your fellow citizens and neighbours opposed to the greatest unnatural disaster about to happen to our beautiful country - send a clear message to The planning authority. Wind Energy is NOT the answer. The wilful destruction of our horizons, our tourist amenity, our property values, our community goodwill, our well being all for what? No electricity bill will reduce. The opposite is true. No Co2 emission will reduce. The opposite is true. Harvesting wind? No. Harvesting cash for billion dollar corporations. That's what it's all about. And the desecration of our land.

Proved repeatedly that they are not economically viable, require fossil fuel plants running below capacity thus inefficiently. no environmental impact studies as the EU conveniently made that part of the legislation non-mandatory. Attended a meeting in Maynooth where Eamon Ryans whole argument for them was destroyed yet still government tries to rail road them through.

Turbines of size 169m should not be built anywhere near humans or animals.

Scarring of our landscape, destruction of wildlife, waterways and for what subsidies for a few and the rest of us have to live with it forever. How has this been allowed ever to happen and we promote our country for tourism. What tourist plans to visit an area that has Wind Turbines, it is time that something was done about the desecration of Ireland....

Why should a few make money at our communities expense. There is legitimate health and financial implications for anyone living near these 186m tall monsters. Don't waste tax payers money lining the pockets of the already rich when there is no agreed interconnector to feed power to UK. Why should our countryside be destroyed for the UK power supply?

Greedy developers being facilitated by our government and their lack of guidelines, to putting these industrial wind turbines next to ppls houses. This county is rotten to the core!!!

Please don't let this go ahead it will affect my children's health and the value of our home and noise in our home to we will only be 1.2km away from them

I am opposed to these wind farms being constructed so near villages and communities which may have health risks and will devalue our homes. All of this without proper consultation.

I oppose this development on grounds of: - absence of proper consultation - noise - shadow flicker

I object to these huge 169meters+ wind turbines being placed so close to our homes they are unsightly and noisey these companies and our government are being underhand and dishonest at the expense of the ordinary Irish citizen.

It is a disgrace to allow 169metre industrial turbines into our community to destroy our homes, health, lifestyle and countryside with noise pollution and light flicker. The nearest proposed industrial turbine is 713 metres from my home which will be unliveable and worthless if these giant eye sore health hazards come into our neigherhood. These turbines belong on mountain tops or offshore away from not objective locals but living breathing human beings with family's homes & kids.

a flawed energy policy Subsidy "farming" 2050 energy capacity targets already achieved Highly pollutant manufacturing process infringing landscapes outside of Ireland Property prices severely affected No one will want to live here, work here or holiday here....a population clearance of the landscape No public consultation-merely one information meeting telling the community where the turbines will be located. Photography highly misleading and selective with regard to relationship to nearby housing. Industrialisation of a rural landscape Unwarranted, unwanted apart from developers and greedy landowners. Destroying integrity of existing and future communities and landscape....certainly not in the national interest.
