Hello! We are a group of passionate young leaders that want to make a difference for our Mother Earth. Our project's objective is to inspire more children and adults to start take action and commit to Reduce, Reuse and Recycle on everyday's items.
Why are we doing this project?
This project started with a research where we found out that there are animals and our planet earth are suffering from plastic waste. This new understanding about plastic waste led to a discussion where we saw with our own eyes that there are many plastic waste around us, especially in the beach and almost everywhere we go!
All the rubbish we found around us, the candy wrappers on the street, the straws in the ocean...are thrown away by humans like ourselves.
If we want to see change, it is always starting with us. We don't want to see people throw rubbish in non-designated places, we don't want to see animals suffering from our rubbish, we don't want to see our Mother Earth to become dirtier.
With these reasons, we decided to step up, educate and inspire more children and adults out there to start take action today to protect our Earth.

I was looking at the beach earlier and seeing so much less junk than usual and then I checked this page and the momentum is just wild. It feels like people are actually paying attention to the plastic problem now which is honestly such a huge relief because I was worried nobody cared about the straws and wrappers.

Why do we need to recycle and what is the benefit of it.. well here’s why Recycling saves resources When we recycle, used materials are converted into new products, reducing the need to consume natural resources. If used materials are not recycled, new products are made by extracting fresh, raw materials from the earth, through mining and forestry. Recycling helps conserve important raw materials and protects natural habitats for the future. Recycling saves energy Using recycled materials in the manufacturing process uses considerably less energy than that required for producing new products from raw materials – even when comparing all associated costs including transport etc. There are also extra energy savings because more energy is required to extract, refine, transport and process raw materials ready for industry, compared with providing industry-ready materials. Recycling helps protect the environment Recycling reduces the need for extracting (mining, quarrying and logging), refining and processing raw materials. All of these create substantial air and water pollution. As recycling saves energy it also reduces greenhouse gas emissions, which helps to tackle climate change.
