I have often brought my nan and grandad here, and they prefer not to have to be sent to Redditch or Worcester. Staff we friendly and kind. Don't make their lives a Post-Code lottery.

Kidderminster is a token gesture, not a sufficient health provision. A small well for a growing populace. Health and Education are at the heart of thriving communities according to Marmot (2010). Government should act upon such costly research reports instead of mindlessly cutting and scapegoating less fortunate and disabled citizens.

I would prefer that Kidderminster returns to a fully functioning A&E as it is obvious that Worcester cannot cope with the strain. In the absence of this why cannot Kidderminster be upgraded used to treat more of the less serious conditions with Worcester treating life threatening conditions. Ambulances could then be routed depending on severity. This would ease some of the pressure on Worcester.

I believe it was a criminal offence the way the new building was gutted only four years after opening at a huge expense to the tax payers!!!

On Friday my 77yr old mum, who has blood cancer and had a strike last year was told to go straight to worcs A&E with blood complications. She was given a letter and worcs were expecting her, she was told she wouldn't have to wait & would be able to go straight to the ward. When we arrived however she was told we had to wait in a busy waiting area and fight for even a seat, she had to be assessed from this area and was returned to it to await her results as the corridors were all full with patients on trolleys. If the results were not good then as there were no beds on the ward or in A&E we were told she would have to spend the night in the waiting area in a seat! This is an elderly registered disabled lady who has had a stroke and is at risk of another or heart attack.....the system is falling apart it is a disgrace!!
It should never of closed !
