Should never have closed.
Makes sense to reopen to save locals long commutes to Worcester, even out staffing levels as the number of patients to a nurse become manageable.
It is a purpose built Hospital and shouldbe used fully to get the most out of the original cost to build it for what it was intended for.

It takes me 45 mins to drive to Worcester, often have problems parking, not to mention the cost. I'm on my own and concerned for my future when i'm unable to drive. Kidderminster is accessible by bus. This does not only apply to myself but to everyone in the district.

Worcester is too far out of the way it takes longer and costs far more to get to Worcester than it does to Birmingham Hospitals. especially if you have to use public transport. I personally would be unable to attend an appointment because I cant afford to get there so would be unable to be treated!! Kidderminster people have been so unfairly mistreated!!

Worcester hospital is terrible my hubby had stroke last year and it took them 3 days to find out wat was wrong even though all the symptoms he had were that of a stroke .dismissed it because of his age at time of 38. Very rude staff on stroke ward there

I recently spent a couple of nights at kidderminster hospital after being transfered from Redditch hospital after a knee replacement op and i can say the staff were second to none very caring and i felt at ease knowing that my family were only up the road and they could come and see me at any time not miles away from anywhere .

how far are we expected to travel in an emergency ..? Also if a family member is pushed down to Worcester it is too far for family to travel and look after/visit the person in hospital .

A town the size of Kidderminster and surrounding areas need a full health service. Three times I had to travel to Worcester to have children, its ridiculous. What happens if an emergency occurs during labour. My three children would now have to travel to Worcs to access a&e facilities, beggars belief.

it would just be nice for everybody not to have to travel to worcester for treatment. also if you don't have the luxury to own a car to find your way home again
