Why should we have all our services taken away the elderly and young parents who don't have transport shouldn't have to suffer we pay our taxes

The services Kidderminster Hospital provide before it was relegated to a Country Hospital were superb and the staff were also very attentive .Our catchment area is too large to expect Worcester to cope with the demand and to ease the pressure on them would prove beneficial to the community.

It's about time the A&E were reintroduced to the Wyre Forest residents here in Kidderminster.
Such an hassle going to Worcester.

Recently had a ruptured aneurysm and to travel as far as Worcester is not acceptable. Worcester a&e is at crisis point and can barely keep up with the numbers especially weekends. The lack of GPs in Worcester hospital especially weekends and bank holidays are a disgrace=5 days in hospital when it could have been less but no one to discharge me!!!

wards. Wards often have patients on who do not fit into that ward's specialism, but there is nowhere else for them to go. There is no need to place an elderly person on a respiratory ward when they were admitted with dehydration. A local hospital could take some local people and thereby reduce some of the strain on Worcester. Also, a less stressful commute/parking experience would be helpful. Kiddy hospital is near to town, so it is easier for visitors to buy toiletries, etc, for a patient.

Kidderminster is the nearest hospital for many rural dwellers - 15 miles instead of 26 to Worcester. Much needed.

As a diabetic who can't drive I would love to have Kidderminster hospital back up and running to its full potential as if I am ever ill I am unable to get to any other hospital.

Residents of Wyre Forest do not want to be treated at Worcester or Redditch Hospitals when we have our own hospital just waiting for us - not a life threatening journey which is the only option we have now!

It's a utter joke traveling to Worcester hospital when Kidderminster hospital is slap bang in the middle of town. The work load is more at Worcester I.e more waiting times.
There are a lot of single moms in Kidderminster, think they want to travel to Worcester with there kids at silly o clock.

Kidderminster covers a large area. This hospital should never have been closed, that also applies to the Ambulance stations servicing this area.

I worked at Kidderminster hospital for 30 plus years, and have always thought it was a wicked shame when it was downgraded. Dr Richard Taylor tried his hardest to save it, but unfortunately did not succeed.
Please let's give it another go.

Had a low lying placenta during pregnancy with rhesus negative blood. Every time I bled I had to travel to worcester and wait in A&E to be scanned to make sure my baby was ok and given injection for rhesus...traumatic and made worse with waiting times and chaos at A&E waiting for a bed a doctor and a scanning machine to become available. Staff excellent in every way but Worcs at maximum capacity. Should never have closed Kidderminster services down as Worcester does not have the resources to treat the overflow.
