Kidderminster Hospital should never have been downgraded as was a hospital that served the local population well.

Kidderminster is VERY under utilised and has ability and potential to perform more surgical procedures with the correct medical provisions on site and nursing staff!

My daughter was taken there in 1998 after a major horse riding accident, she spent 2 weeks in intensive care and 8weeks in Children's Ward the staff there were brilliant especially Mr Cleak her consultant.

Bring back all services to Kidderminster hospital, after the fiasco at Worcs this past few weeks it's been proven that Worcs is unable to meet the demands!

A gynaecological team who do their job and actually care would be nice. And why do we have to make appointments to have x - rays through our doctor? I had a possible broken ankle, rang up, was told to see my doctor, of whom I had to wait a week, who then told me to get an x ray of which I had to wait several days for them to get the notification from my doctor? By which time my broken bone had started to re heal. Just not acceptable

I broken my foot few months and needed a permanent cast was told to go my local hospital when I arrived after taking a hour to walk on crutches was told weren't able to and would have to go to Worcester I then had to take another hour to get home and then waste money to get to Worcester which then only seen for 5 minute so to be told I didn't need one ridiculous would of been easier to do all that at Kidderminster

With each town continually growing, Kidderminster Hospital should never of been downgraded. Worcester Hospital can't cope with the size of area it has to cover and also is too far to travel in an emergency. As I feel is being proved this winter by deaths. I have experienced the long waiting times (5 hours) in A&E with my mother when she she was terminally ill with cancer. The waiting times were never that long at Kidderminster A&E! Not only did Kidderminster offer a better service but it was a teaching hospital!
