When I first read the story on The Packet’s Facebook page I had pictured a much older man with a much younger child, it’s just the way the story reads. After learning what was actually going on I was shocked that this is being brought before the courts. There are drug dealers and murders free to roam the streets but they want to lock away a young man with his entire future ahead of him for a relationship that was totally consensual!!! Blows my mind.

This literally makes me sick to my stomach!! He do not deserve this! If anything her parents should be at fault more so then him! They allowed it in the first place but in my eye's tgis young man should not be held accountable at all!! Praying for you and your son candy my live oxo if you need anything just let me know!!

I have seen first hand that there can be more information unsaid that what is said that can make or break a case. This case hits me right in the pit of my stomach and it tells me something is wrong and needs to be reviewed. I know little about the case but I have witnessed enough in the system to know not to let this drop.

My heart breaks for you guys. I pray these charges get reconsidered. Yes he has made mistakes we all do, were human. But he doesn't deserve to be put away for a long time . Fight Candy with every last breathe you have in ya and make sure justice is served in the right manor. Nobody is asking the law to drop all the charges but there's a few he surely isn't guilty of .

Candy, I personally don't know you or your family. I just can't get over this story. I was sick watching your video & by the end I was crying. First off he dated someone who was underage, everybody and there dog knows this by now. It was wrong yes & I'm sure If he could go back in time he would. He realizes the mistake he made and sadly its too late suffering by it. It just doesn’t seem fathomable to me to charge Kevin with this! Consequences should be less severe for someone who has a consensual relationship with someone underage ! It's just NOT fair to put him in the same category as a predator, a pedophile!
I'm sorry this is happening to you and your son. I hope it all works out for you. Keep fighting Momma! There's a lot of people supporting him. Also as I couldn't get this out of my mind.. I stumbled across some cases in the states. Florida adopted a “Romeo and Juliet” law in 2007. It's for cases like Kevin's, look Into it. All the best.

I meet this young man a couple times.great young man.this has to go down in history as the biggest mistake our courts will ever make if he has to do anytime .
