They were going together for a year or more.both families knew about it.was ok with it having them dropped of to each others house..its unreal for it to go to court and ruin lives like its going to do .my opinion based on what I read not what I knows.i only read about one side off the story...i hope all truth comes out and the right thing is done..good luck to all

Knew this young man since the day he has been born. He was always a kid and very polit, smart and respectable. It's so wrong what is happening to him and he so does not deserve to be punished to the extent of these charges.

Kevin and I have been friends since he moved back to Bonavista in the sixth grade. We may have fallen out of touch in the last little while but it still breaks my heart to know he is going through this. He had always been a very smart, kind, sweet, funny individual. He may not be entirely innocent, but this has gone way too far. It was a consensual relationship and these charges are blown way out of perspective compared to the actual story. These charges make him sound like one of the most unfit humans and that is something he most definitely is not. Charges like these can ruin a persons life forever and he does not deserve it. Keep your head high Kevin. Your friends and family, the people who truly believe in you and are fighting with you and for you through all this, will be by your side till the very end!

I cannot say I know Kevin well, however I did work with him for a short while, and know that he is not the monster this case has protraded him to be. I have spent a great part of my life involved with a women’s shelter and women’s centre therefore I do not take these charges lightly, however I cannot stand by and let a young man’s life be ruined to make an example of him. Right is right, and wrong is wrong, and this case and the charges are wrong. This could very easy be anyone of us facing this same future with one of our sons, please people, have a heart, and get behind this young man, yes he has made a mistake, but certainly does not deserve to pay with his life!
