Kessock Bridge Lights

I use this road everyday. And the only time it seems to flow properly is when the lights are not working!!!! A waste of money!

The roundabout is too small for lights to work - much better without it, but can we have a proper grade separated intersection please, Transport Scotland - just throw it in as part of the A9 dualling project

We do not want or need the traffic lights on the kessock bridge roundabout.. Listen to the people!

These traffic lights were an ill-conceived idea resulting in frustration and tailbacks which are totally unnecessary. Roundabouts are built to alleviate the need for lights.

Local people have been saying this since the lights went in. A perfect example of someone trying to solve a problem which doesn't exist - and waste taxpayers money doing so.

The lights do not work. They cause congestion. No tail back whatsoever when the lights failed recently

It's a no brainier, Fact, when lights are off traffic flows better.

Please listen to the people who use this roundabout every day, the current situation is at best frustrating and plainly unsafe as the way it is right now I see and experience near misses on a daily basis! Enough is enough, give us a trial period without the lights to prove us wrong!!

The lights on the Kessock bridge roundabout are absolutely useless, cause more buildup of traffic than ever before and cause masses of frustration!! Switch them off and make thousands happy!

Perhaps It is time we forced Transport Scotland a long hard look at the traffic management issues at this junction In the short term ie immediately you need to get rid of the lights and reinstate the dedicated lanes Longman/A9 North and A9 Northbound into Longman!! Then look at putting a single lane flyover for the southbound carriageway over stadium road for cars/light vans The hold up at this juncture creates gridlock throughout Inverness

Time and time over these lights have proven themselves to be a hinderance more than a help, why not just switch them on for soccer matches?

The lights do not help us, just keep them for emergencies

I don't speed, I try my best to be a courteous driver and I dont suffer from road radge...that is until it comes to this round a bout. I speed up to not miss the green light because I know I will be stuck for ages before it changes. I do not let people in...the frustrated people who lane jump because they are in a rush and I suffer road rage every time I get to this round about! Get rid of those lights and put the lane back in that allows the traffic on the left lane heading to harbour road back in to allow traffic to flow! Another useless idea put in by someone who does not drive that road and a huge waste of money...congratulations!

These Traffic lights are a joke. The amount of times I've been coming south into Inverness and been stuck on the roundabout waiting to turn onto longman road, but the queue from the traffic coming from the south has blocked the entire roundabout for anyone wanting to turn.

Please remove the lights, they hold up the flow of traffic and are also dangerous. I have seen so many near misses and it's only a matter of time before someone is injured

I travel over the bridge twice a day and the light system us horrific. It needs taking out or rejigging as when lights are on red, other traffic are blocking our lanes who are on green and causes tailbacks. Or if you insist on keeping the lights, change their setting and maybe put some yellow boxes on road to keep traffic from clogging other lanes when their lights are on green. Its not rocket science

I agree with you here. Also have a look at the lights in city centre at Morrisons, surely they should stay green on Milburn Road until someone comes out off Morrisons, which at night don't happen much.
