There wasn't as many hold ups and tail backs before the lights were put in place.
I believe the trafic flowed much smoother whilest the lights were out of action the other day.
To prove a point the lights could be switched off for a week or two and observations made to see just what effect it would have.

These lights were only supposed to be "temporary", whilst the work was undertaken on the bridge, total waste of taxpayers money. Flows better without the lights as many others have also commented

These are dangerous. The sequencing can leave you stuck in the middle of the lanes, across the traffic coming from the right. They cause unnecessary tailbacks and frustration. Get rid!

I have now been through this roundabout twice when the lights were not working, traffic flowed much quicker and on one occasion I cut 10 minutes off my journey. I assumed that these lights were put there for when they were resurfacing the bridge, I expected them to be removed once that had been done.. These lights cause more havoc than before

Couldn't agree more. A roundabout is a "Free Flowing Junction". No need and we were lied to about them being temporary

A waste of public money in the first place.The lilights just cause an obstruction to all drivers. The roundabout runs smooth and clear when they are switched off.
