Kerikeri needs a sports hub to promote and support a healthy community for all its residents and neighbouring communities. We need modern sporting facilities for a number of sporting and fitness codes: football; year round covered swimming pool; Gymnastics; squash courts.... to name just a few. Making a large sporting facility in Kerikeri a financial priority for the Far North District Council supports a positive and healthy community.

I have plans to move into the area. A multi code sports hub is a great idea. Our CEO has developed a similar concept in waikato.
