Hi,
My fellow kenyans, it is with deep sorrow I write this petition. But I have to, the Kenyan Media is turning us into zombies who are ignorant and lack facts to help us make informed decisions. As you have noticed, the media seem to focus on who will Raila merge with or who will Uhuru merge with etc. In the last 2 months the headlines are filled with stories of how the several presidential candidates are meeting in secret locations doing "Deals".
These deals don't help the common mwananchi, they basically tell people, the Kikuyu and Kalenjin can defeat the Luo and Luhya combination. These tribal heads are being aided by the Kenyan media who dont even ask the questions.
They show these idiots on TV calling each other names and singing songs, shouting insults at their competitors. Kenyans should be able to open the newspaper and read that Uhuru or Raila has pledged to develop the arid areas of Turkana by building Health institutions or Schools. Instead you put on the TV and its just filth about who is in bed with who.
Lets rise above this total buffoonery . Only we can take charge of our destiny as a nation. The Kenyans who aren't informed will make uninformed decisions.
Remember that the people who fought for this country to be free were not Politicians, they were common people but with a united purpose and aim.
thanks.
Muga
The feedback I receive daily confirms that many citizens are tired of the constant focus on partisan alliances rather than substantive policy. I am currently compiling a report on media coverage patterns to present to the relevant oversight bodies.

The momentum behind this initiative continues to grow at an encouraging pace. It is evident that many share the conviction that our media landscape requires a shift toward substance rather than political spectacle.

The news is just noise now. Why do they think we care about these secret deals? Tell us about the rising cost of flour instead.

Stop the hate speech and the division. Our country deserves better than this constant focus on which tribe aligns with who.

True muga. They are making us hate our brothers for nothing. Just pure nonsense on the news channels every single night.

Exactly. We are not zombies. Give us facts about hospitals and schools not just who is meeting who in a hotel room.
