Αγαπητοί συμπολίτες της Δυτικής Μάνης,
Βρισκόμαστε στη δυσάρεστη θέση να σας ενημερώσουμε και συνάμα να ζητήσουμε τη στήριξη όλων σας στο φλέγον ζήτημα της υπολειτουργίας του Κ. Υγείας.
Το Κέντρο Υγείας τους τελευταίους μήνες αντιμετωπίζει σοβαρά προβλήματα και βασικές ελλείψεις. Παρά τις προσπάθειες του διευθυντή για διπλές εφημερίες, τις περισσότερες μέρες, από τις μεσημεριανές ώρες και μέχρι πρωίας, μόνο ένας γιατρός βρίσκεται στο χώρο του Κ.Υ. Αυτό σημαίνει πως αν χρειαστεί να διακομησθεί ασθενής στο νοσκομείο της Καλαμάτας, για αρκετές ώρες δεν θα έχουμε γιατρό στο Κέντρο Υγείας. Γεγονός που βάζει σε σοβαρό κίνδυνο τις ζωές όλων μας.
Είναι απαραίτητο να βρεθεί λύση για να μην θρηνίσουμε ανθρώπινες ζωές. Είναι σημαντικό να ακουστούμε και να δράσουμε όλοι μαζί ώστε να αποφευχθούν τα χειρότερα. Όπως θα είναι πλήγμα και για τον τουρισμό ένα Κέντρο Υγείας χωρίς προσωπικό, με αναπόφευκτη κατάληξη το κλείσιμο του, την ερείπωση και την περιθωριοποίηση της περιοχής μας.
Ας αγωνιστούμε για το αυτονόητο, την υγεία μας!

I just looked at the counter and realized we hit two hundred and fifty names which is honestly kind of overwhelming considering I started this on a total whim. It feels like people are finally realizing that if we do not speak up about these dangerous shifts at the health center then nobody else is going to do it for us.

We are climbing toward the two hundred fifty mark so please tell your neighbors to jump on board because we really need to keep this momentum from fading away. I keep thinking about how dangerous the gaps in our coverage are when the clinic is empty and honestly it is terrifying to wait for someone else to step up when we need to do this ourselves right now.

Look we are honestly inching toward the first hundred and it feels like we might actually stall out here if nobody pushes the link on their own page. I really need you all to send this to a few people today because the empty halls at the clinic are just getting worse and I am honestly scared for what happens next if we do not get more eyes on this page right now.

Είναι πολύ σημαντικό στην ήδη υποβαθμισμένη και χωρίς υποδομές επαρχία, τουλάχιστον να μην νιώθουμε πολίτες δεύτερης κατηγορίας, στερούμενοι ένα τόσο βασικό δικαίωμα όσο είναι η ιατρική περίθαλψη
Without the the prompt medical attention in I received in 2004 I would not be signing this petition. It is a vital facility to the wellbeing of local people and the annual thousands of visitors/tourists.
The health centre is vital in the community. We are over one hour from Kalamata hospital. It is a matter of life and death in our area.
A friend of ours was accompanied by the doctor last Friday night in the ambulance to Kalamata (with a serious head injury), leaving the Centre without a doctor for over 3 hours. More staffing is essential for the health and welfare of our community.
Ειναι ΑΠΑΡΑΔΕΚΤΟ σε μια απο τις πιο ιστορικες περιοχες της Ελλαδας με τοσο τουρισμο να κινδυνευουν να χαθουν ανθρωπινες ζωες!!Καθημερινα βιωνω την αγωνια τοσων ανθρωπων που ζουν στην περιοχη καθως και αλλοδαπων που αποφασιζουν να φυγουν απο την Μανη γι αυτο ακριβως το λογο!!Ειναι ΞΕΦΤΙΛΑ του Ελληνικου κρατους!!!
Είναι απαρετιτο να κρατήσουμε το κέντρο υγείας ανοικτό διότι σε περίπτωση επείγουσας ανάγκης δεν υπάρχει τίποτα άλλο στον περιοχή μας και μπορεί να στυχηση τη ζωή ανθρώπων που θα μπορούσαν να σωθούν

This health centre is a vital resource for West Mani inhabitants. It is essential that it is staffed properly with enough doctors and nurses. We, the citizens of this area must have good health facilities day and night. There is nothing more important than good health, especially for poor people who cannot afford private medical care.
