A lot of folks don't realize how important cycling is to the Maine economy. We are a destination for many different types of cycling / cycling and should be doing more to attract folks to the state to partake.

I am a disabled adult who needs to walk daily, but must do it elsewhere such as the beach because the sidewalks from Bibber's towards the village are in deplorable condition. Thank you

I live at Cheshire Meadows and bike every day in the nice weather- it's dangerous with no bike path. I'm unable to use the sidewalks- they're deplorable. Please fix Summer St..

I ride a 26 mile loop over to Biddo, through the Port, and back to my home at Cheshire Meadows. The ride on Summer Street is the most harrowing part! A repaved road - and bike lane, if possible - would be wonderful. Thanks!

The sidewalks and street lighting are terrible for walking. For everyone's safety, we need a safe walking surface, and "village" style street lighting.

To every passerby the entire section of sidewalk just screams "Neglect". It's a forgotten zone that has deteriorated to the point of being hazardous to pedestrians and cyclists. The sidewalk dates to the 1800's and the road bed is heaved, cracked and inadequate for the volume of traffic it carries.

Sidewalk improvement would be good but we really must keep to our vernacular building materials - no blacktop!

Although I do not live in Kennebunk, I travel Summer Street and have noted areas where work - especially along the sides where bicyclists travel - would improve both the image and safety of the street.

As a resident of Summer Street and an avid cyclist riding to / from Durrells Bridge Road, I know first hand of the cracks and crumbling pavement along Summer Street. Cars, and especially the numerous trucks, cannot really "share" the road because the road is too narrow for cars and cyclists. Plus the current sidewalks are trip hazards due to heaving and generally have seen their better days. Considering Summer Street is a primary route to / from KBK to Kport, greater care should be given to the road and sidewalks. The area's infrastructure should also be a reflection of Kennebunk.

fixing the rough sidewalks and potholes from Kennebunk to Kennebunkport would dramatrically improve one of the jewels of southern Maine.
