In the very little time I’ve spent with Coach Ken he has been nothing less of what rugby needs. His compassion for the game and leadership stands out. Whether that’s juggling his being from practice to practice between teams, or the pure knowledge, and importance of having the team together of the pitch. Coach Ken is nothing but deserving and has put in more than anyone could ask for.

Ken Stone is one of the most generous people I know. The man has become a mentor, coach, and friend to me since I arrived to college. His passion for the game of rugby and love for other people makes him a great candidate for any leadership role or position within USA rugby.

I've played rugby for over 20 years and 35+ seasons. Ken is one of the best coaches I've had in my entire experience, if not the best. He is highly organized, motivated, and ambitious. Under Ken's leadership, our club continued and greatly expanded it's track record of success, advancing far into the national playoffs. We went from barely 15-20 guys at a practice to upwards of 30 (two full sides, peaking at 48-52). I have no doubt that had we played the 2020 season, we would have dominated, and been well underway along towards the huge goals of having THREE sides, dominating the D3 division, and advancing into the D divison. Ken is so dedicated to rugby that he coaches both DU and QCRFC. The college club feeds players into the men's club, creating continuity that improves the program, and the quality of the player's lives and community. Thank you, Ken.
Obviously, he would make a great addition to USA Rugby and accelerate the rapid growth that our favorite sport is seeing in this country.

Ken came into the Queen City family as I was finishing my time as a player. However, the time I did play under him was more than enough to realize he exemplifies everything positive about rugby. From the technical knowledge of the game to the spirit that embodies it, his person is synonymous with this sport we all love and wish to grow. He would be invaluable in this pursuit.
