This intersection is so bad that my husband & I forbid our teen driver from using one of the two exits /entrances to our neighborhood, despite the inconvenience. In addition, although WE are experienced drivers, my husband and I avoid the intersection, too. We have seen drivers there doing too many stupid things to deal with the traffic, and it’s just not worth the risk. I understand there is a contract with Beazer. However, I also know that at least one unethical former Town Councilman took thousands of dollars in campaign contributions from builders. He’s no longer on the council, but the damage he did while catering to developers is still being felt. Make it right, Apex. Really, does someone have to die here before you take this seriously???!

Seems like a no-brainer. That intersection was bound to be ridiculously busy from the start but especially now with the development.

It's dangerous.I cannot see vehicles through the barrels and barricades as I try to merge left into traffic. It is also an inconvenience and deters business to the many shops and restaurants on that side of Beaver Creek Shopping Center.

There needs to be a light at this intersection. It’s very dangerous merging onto Kelly Rd not to mention not being able to turn left. Please get it installed ASAP

Prior news releases indicated the current approach to the issue was short term because plans were already in play to install the light. Given the length of time since that information was released, why has there been no forward movement in installing the light?

My daughter used to work at beaver creek commons and had to do a Hail Mary at this dangerous intersection. Im thankful she wasn’t killed!

I agree a traffic light is much needed for that intersection. And the need will only increase once all the houses/townhouses are finished being built and occupied.
