Apex, put a traffic light at Kelly Rd and Beaver Creek Commons Drive!

I live in Abbington and use this intersection four or five times a day. Turning left or crossing traffic to get to Beaver Creek is dangerous. We have been promised a traffic light since May. The 2 housing developments across the street and the subdivision beside us, plus the Publix Shopping Center should never have been approved without the installation of a traffic light at this intersection. The town of Apex needs to right this wrong and take the lead and do whatever is necessary to move the traffic light project forward. Stop being bureaucratic and get it done.

PLEASE!! This road is a nightmare waiting to happen! Be a city that CARES!

Very dangerous intersection I won't let my son who is anew driver drive there.

The city's recent answer has been to have an officer parked near the construction. This is an asinine waste of resources and a non-answer to a problem with an obvious answer. Bringing these parties to a resolution is imperative for the community. When weighing the wants and preferences of a few against the needs of a whole community, the imperative is self-evident.

This light is way overdue and the current forces turn is dangerous to merge with the lanes closed and so short.

I got a citation for making a u-turn there before they put all the signs up. Is anybody considering legal action to get our money back for that?

This should have been done back in May and it’s getting very frustrating for everyone, especially residents who live near this road and or people who use it every day. With winter weather coming, this needs to be a main priority!

This light should never have been tied to the tiny development adjacent to it. It should have always been tied to the REST of the developments such as Bella Casa, etc, who's residents use Kelly Rd for their daily commute. No more excuses please!
