If you can't leave your personal opinions at the door then you shouldn't be a nurse / doctor. You should help anyone in need regardless if you like them or not.

She took an oath and refusing to help a person in need goes against that oath

I am an RN and find this story of a nurse not helping a person in distress appalling. She should have her licence revoked.

I can't believe that someone who is a licensed nurse would say such a thing. Let alone to refuse help to anyone when she has the knowledge to help others, especially when that person is in a life or death situation. Yes! Revoke her license and let society take a break from having to worry about ever being placed in someone's care who thinks similar and would possibly risk your life thinking you don't deserve to live! SAVE A LIFE!

Rip that certification of hers to shreds. Nobody in the health field should ignore a dying individual(s). I don't have a hateful bone in my body but this fumes me. Thank you.

Sorry I misread. I thought Kelli was the one who was in distress. Screw Kelli.

My mother has been a nurse for over 30 years and I have seen her help people in any situation and I can't imagine her ever saying no, and as a nurse her personal feelings should never get involved with helping people otherwise she is in the wrong profession

That woman is a good mother and took care of her children always! The fact that she was driven to this sickens and saddens me!
