My mother is a nurse and there is NO WAY she would refuse help to anyone no matter the circumstances. This is ridiculous and she should not be taking care of people!

I'm not a nurse or doctor and I still would have tried something to help her. It's called being a human being.

Anyone that is a RN and will not help another person that is need of medical attention should have her license pulled.

I have worked in health care for years, and you are legally responsible for trying to save someone's life. You can get charged for coming across the scene of an accident and not administering first aid if necessary. There is no difference in this circumstance.

Wow! Being a nurse she should have went To help. Weather it would have mattered or not is not the point. You do what you can! It matters to those left behind!!

As a lifeguard and CPR certified and first aid certified, I believe and by law you cannot neglect your duty in helping and assisting ANYONE who needs the help, regardless of skin, race, or gender (that including family or in-laws). To hear that a Nurse neglected in helping an elderly women and to gear this over 'family matters' it's unbelievable and should have her license revoked.
