KEEP WOOD A TWO WAY STREET

We live in hermitage and use wood all the time to get to our street. This would be very inconvenient and feel that this will also produce way more traffic down our one way. Please think twice about doing this

There are already too many north bound 1 way streets

This is a terrible idea that will greatly hinder the flow of traffic in our neighborhood

I used to live in that neighborhood. This would be a terrible idea. The traffic is bad enough and would become a total nightmare if Wood was made a one way street.

I've lived off wood for a decade. I use this as a safe way to travel on bike every day. The lane change would mess that up and it is not how I want the money spent.

Please keep it a two-way street. Changing it would send all southbound traffic to an even smaller residential street, Marion.

The proposed rebuttal proposal accommodates for similar safe passage while making use of already wider lanes, in addition to providing bike lane support to local schools and parks.

Keep Wood a two way street!! It's convenient for neighborhood residents. More bike lanes does not equal more bikes on the road.

This is the dumbest idea and a complete waste of money!! Why don’t you spend that Money on extra CPD in Wicker Park to help curtail the skyrocketing crime!!

Emergency vehicles have a more difficult time traveling on a one way street versus a two way street

I’ve lived on Wood st for 20 years and Never ever have I’ve seen Bikes on Wood st. Some on Divisoion But never. To make wood st a one way would be a Crime ‼️First Responders use Wood st way accessiblity to get to Hospitals and fires.
