To all HELP Subang 2 students,
The administration is changing the security at our campus and unfortunately that means Uncle Rama is no longer gonna be with us. For those of you who don't know Uncle Rama is the Indian man who leads the security at our university campus. Uncle Rama is such a kind, fun, funny and loving person and a true asset to the HELP Subang 2 campus. He has helped so many of my international friends feel at home (he speaks japanese and mandarin and etc). He always says that working at HELP is not about a paycheck, it is about passion and taking care of his students who he sees as "his own". Maybe you have not hung out in school long enough to have felt the warmth of this man but I think anyone who has can vouch for his genuine kindness. He doesn't make much money from this job, but he still finds the money but most importantly the heart to take students out for meals (that he pays for), buy us food, give us rides to and from university. Many of the our parents find solace in leaving us in the security that he represents at this school. I have left my bag, phone, laptop and you name it, all around school and i have not left any of it. The other guards under him are helpful and have never been rude which is rare. The security change that is going to be made is merely due the company asking a lower pay for their workers than the one Uncle Rama is from. But I think we all know, sometimes quality comes with a price. (Besides they are not gonna decrease the resource fees because of this anyway)
Even if you don't understand or necessarily feel as passionate as some of us do in this matter it's okay. At least consider what is said above and share this with whomever you see fit. If you are a lecturer seeing this, please help. #KeepUncleRama

He’s really nice and heartwarming. It’ll be great to have him around. A change of kindness. He often give us a lift when we’re at uni without transportation to go back Atria. He helps us with the traffic when we’re crossing the road. He greets us and is never stingy with his smiles :’)
I have personally spoken to him when I first sent my daughter to Help Subang 2 and exprienced how helpful , kind and pleasant a man he is.. it’s a great lost to Help Subsng 2 if the university does not find ways to keep him .., I support fully the idea for him to stay ...
Uncle Rama has helped us students a lot. He has went out of his way to ensure the safety, comfort and well-being of the students. Even on Saturdays or days when we can't contact DSA, he would come and assist us and help us with the issue.
He is not just a guard, he is the guardian of HELP, I could see that he really did his job very well. There was this time where I was about to cross the road, and he stood at the middle if the road and asked the car to stop to let us go! I have never seen a guard like him before
He is really a nice person. When I first came here with my parents, he was the one who spoke hindi and welcomed us very nicely. I felt like someone is here whom I can contact with. He should stay.! God bless him

Uncle Rama is more than just a security guard. He never fails to greet anyone, i repeat anyone when he walks pass, and he even takes to effort to greet us in our native language. To me, that is just a whole new level of amazing, it won’t be the same without him and his team
