For too long organizations like the Women’s Media Center have sought to silence the millions of American’s who stand in opposition to abortion. Currently they have launched a campaign to remove an ad featuring The University of Florida’s Tim Tebow and his mother from airing during Super Bowl XLIV on CBS. This ad, sponsored by Focus on the Family, details the pregnancy of Pam Tebow, and her decision not to abort Tim even when doctors warned her own life was in danger.
This ad has been falsely labeled as divisive, and vitriol, however the truth of the matter is that it is neither. It shows the love of a mother for her child, from the time of conception to the moment he drew his first breath. It would be an injustice not to allow this advertisement, which represents the views of a majority of Americans, not to air. We are urging you CBS not to back down, and to allow the advertisement to run as it is intended. We, the undersigned, ask you not to cower to those who would seek to silence these views, but encourage you to allow the American public to form their own opinion after the advertisement airs during the Super Bowl on February 7th, 2010.
We just hit 250 signatures and I am honestly overwhelmed by how many of you value Pam Tebow's story as much as I do. Seeing this support for a mother's choice to protect her child is truly encouraging.

The feedback I receive daily reminds me why this story about Pam and Tim needs to be told on the biggest stage. I am currently working to ensure our message reaches the network leadership directly so they understand that families want to see this ad. We must keep pushing because a mother's story of choosing life deserves to be heard without fear of censorship.

CBS needs to grow a backbone and not let these groups bully them around. Keep the ad on the schedule.

Its just a story about a mom and her son. Why are people so upset by a simple message of life? Let it air!

So tired of special interest groups trying to control what we see. Tim Tebow is a great role model and his moms story is inspiring.
