Keep British Summer time
With the ever increasing cost of heating and lighting fuels and the fact that it is light enough to see clearly in summer at 4am when we are asleep and too dark to see clearly after 9pm when we are all awake, it makes sence to maintain the British Summer time all year long, and have double summer time during the very long days of summer. We have all heard the complaints from the Scots about the fact that they do not have such long periods of lightness. They have their own parliament who can decide whether they follow our example in this change. It is for the good of our economy in times of personal hardship to save several hours of lighting, for the good of the environment and it must be good for our well-being. So let the people of England and Wales talk.
