This is a petition for all English football supporters nationwide & worldwide against the absurd and idiotic proposal for an extra game to be attached to the English Premier League from season 2010/2011 for each of the 20 Premier League club's, making it a 39 game season. This proposal by the Premier League and it's Chief Executive Richard Scudamore is based, make no mistake about it, purely on greed and an attempt to make the rich club's even richer and treads roughshod over more than 100 years of history and tradition. This once again shows clearly how out of touch the games ruling bodies are with the true football supporter in England. Remember, English football without the supporters would fail to exist, as empty stadiums would no longer be an attraction to the worldwide TV audiences. Please sign the petition if you agree, that the English Premier League should continue in it's present format of all 20 teams playing each other once home and away in a 38 league match format and NOT be influenced by greed and an obsession for making even more money.
