Coach Metzger has been the best thing to happen to Pinecrest Football, and arguably Pinecrest in general. He has built our program up from nothing while teaching the players great morals and life lessons. He positively encourages everyone to be the best they can be and helps them in any way he can, not just the players. I recently quit football because of a tougher class schedule. Metzger fully supported me in this course of action. I believe I speak for the majority of the Pinecrest football family when I say the morals instilled in us by Metzger and the football program will be with us for the rest of our lives. Furthermore I believe it is important to mention that coach Chris Metzger has made a massive impact in our community over the last several years and it would be a huge mistake to let him go.

Please keep this amazing roll model for our young boys. My son played football for four years and is now playing with the University of Miami due to the help of Viach Metzger. Our community needs this man! Our school needs this man! Out football team needs this leader!

Coach Metzger is more than a coach and teacher he is a leader of men and students. He has been such a great influence on my son and to any student who has crossed his path . Coach Merzgers dismissal would be a grave injustice to Pinecrest and to the student body. Please for the students sake think before you act!
