Someone needs to look back in to the History books which will reflect what this (Pinecrest) HS losing culture looked like.
Sadly , it will not adequately portray what it felt like and what it did to the emotional well being of the student athletes who chose to participate in the football program.
The lives that Chris Metzger has positvely effected are too numerous to mention!
If he is "relieved" of his position, it will likely go down as one of the most ludicrous , damaging and senseless decisions ever made by any member or group of members of the MCS
They do not have any clue just how spoiled we have been under his leadership.
Coach Metzger and his wife Laura are valuable members of the community and have absolutely no interest in leaving it.
PLEASE do not make this mistake
You will be punishing student athletes as well
Is THAT what you want ?!

Coach Metzger is a fantastic role model for our young men and I was honored to have him coach my son through high school and before that as he took camps that were offered. He has brought the football team and family's of Patriots to great heights. Thank you coach!

There is more than one person to blame and firing Metzger will not do anything but ruin the career of this man. It will not take away the problem that is still there.

Coach Metzger has resurrected a football team, community and developed young men with good morals and ethics when participating in sports and daily well being. Considering he has done nothing wrong, this falls on the shortcomings of the principle having reasonable cause and rationale. I support Coach Metzger, his players, his family and community.

I'm a new Pinecrest parent, and I think it's absurd to take a job from a man that's dedicated much of his adult life helping kids. If a mistake was made, fix it, but don't mess with an individual's livlihood and his ability to support his family.
