To be honest i don't know what i would do if Coach Metzgar wasn't the head coach anymore because he's like a father figure to me and everyone else on the team. Football is my only way i have nothing else...he has made this team into a better team not just by winning but by making us better men and getting us prepared for life.

Coach Metzgar is a hero in my eyes for all he has done for so many of our young men and the community. It is beyond belief this would even be considered! We are so blessed to have him at Pinecrest!

Coach Metzger is a man of character who has done a wonderful job training young boys into becoming good men. THAT IS WHAT COACHING IS ALL ABOUT! His winning record is just icing on the cake.

There was potentially going to be NO football at Pinecrest before Coach. He sends kids to college through football. He has a tremendous buy in from his players. I wish Union Pines could have a coach like him. He's very nice Christian man and a good speaker. Keep Metzger
