He is a great man and has done so much to improve the Pinecrest Football team and doing side programs through the summers and breaks. Enough has been lost with the decisions, but this coach doesn't deserve this .

Bob Grimesey needs to demonstrate the same compassion that the community displayed for him in his recent case. He needs to demonstrate LEADERSHIP in addressing this issue--keep Chris Metzger in this community, he makes a difference in the lives of young people. Can't believe it has come to this.

Having attended a Coach Metzger football camp this past summer, my son participated, as a parent I was pleased and impressed with the way Coach Metzger and his staff conducted themselves with the kids. Truly professional, caring, instructive, morals, values and ethics were front and center. You could watch and see that Coach Metzger had the kids best interest at heart. What more could a parent ask of a coach ?? My son will be a freshman next year and I want Coach Metzger to be the Coach he will play for.

Chris Metzger is an extraordinary person and coach. He is loved by his players and he has made a difference in our community. It would be a grave mistake to dismiss him. He makes a difference in many lives.

I've known coach metzger ever since I was 4 years old I went to his little patriot camps. I have always wanted to play for him and I'm pretty sure all the players have. Don't take that privalige away from us. Coach is family don't take him away either

He is a great leader and coach, he has also brought this program from nothing, his most recent failure will not be his last and we should be gracious. He is human and everyone makes mistakes. There would be no program with out him.

I hope we don't make the same type of mistake we did a few months ago. If this is solely about the mistake or money this will end badly again for our community. We would raise enough to cover the fine in less than an hour. People make mistakes. He is a great leader and motivator of kids. If he is fired there better be some very strong evidence otherwise.

Chris Metzger is the best thing that has happened to Pinecrest football! Don't let him go! He know every kid's name, every parent's name, and that's whether or not they are in the football program! He's kept faith, fellowship and football in the right perspective. We must keep the Coach!
