He his the foundation of Pincrest now and his why these kids are being seen by top colleges for football. The coach is the first step too any communication and he is the thats starts it. He made a big positive impact when he came in and if forced out...well it could be the biggest isdue you and Pinehurst will ever have or seen, he's here fir the boys and theh want him...listen to them and put your pride and politics away.

Coach Metzger has touched the lives of so many young men & women, and the awesome influence he has had on them will go with them forever! My grandson has played football under him for two years now & I'm not sure he will return without Coach Metzger. It would be a shame & disgrace to let this man go, when he has done so much for the school, community, & the lives of the young men, he calls ELITE!!

When Coach Metzger came to Pinecrest the team was considered a joke - now we are a contender for state championships! Let's give honor where it's due!

He has been an inspiration to my grandson, Christian. It would be a grave injustice to fire this man. Don't do more harm.

Both of my brothers were coached by Metzger. We can't see him go. He has put his blood and sweat into coaching Pinecrest football team and we have gotten far with him. Signed former student class of 2004

I am a current sophomore at Pinecrest HS, and I can tell you life without Coach Mzgter my freshman year would've been alot different. He prepare us to be ready for what lays ahead in our future. Also how to be proper, polite, respectful young men. I stand with you Coach Mzgter

Coach Metzger is a man of honor and personal integrity. He instills those same attributes in his players, their families, and the community. It would be such a shame to lose such a positive role model ... I would hope grace would be extended to all people. Mistakes are made in human nature, but where would we all be if no grace was shown to our own lives?

As a former player, student, and coach at Pinecrest HS I have never seen the positive impact that Coach Metzger has had on lives of student athletes before.

Thus coach has been the best coach ever for Pinecrest. It would not be wise to let him go.

No reasonable person could have doubts about the coach's leadership, professionalism and dedication. Only a FOOL would put the coach's job on the line for a minor, clerical error for which the school's punishment was disproportional to the mistake.

Coach Metzger came to Pinecrest during my stepson's senior season. He made an impact then, and has continued to make an impact ever since.
