Haven't we all made mistakes in our life time. What if we didn't get second chances where would you be today. We also have to think of the good this man has done for these kids and others. I stand with Coach Metzer.

This is about a community. Coach Metzger has touched more kids who don't play football than have.

As a parent, I can honestly say there's no one who is as compassionate about each and every kid as Coach Metzger. We need more teachers, coaches and leaders who support our children the way he does.

To fire coach Metzger is to fire far more than a football coach. As a female who did not play football, he impacted my high school career and my life in general countless times! And he was a pillar of guidance to my husband, pinecrest quarterback alumn, Ben Williams. To fire coach Metzger, would be a grave mistake to all.

He has been to good to our kids and community and that should count for a whole heck of a lot more than than an extra kid being dressed out for a game !!! Yes there were errors made ! Believe me we all make them but I hope my good would out weigh the bad everytime! You wanna teach the kids about a life lesson and the community ? Show them and explain publicly that an error was made but you can still be a good valuable person and go on in life to do more good !! That's a lesson worth teaching !

Coach Metzger has built young me to be leaders in their school and in their community. He has taught them to believe in themselves, to trust, to have dedication and commitment, and how to win with dignity and lose with grace. He is a class act and I am forever great fun for the opportunities he has given my son over the last four years! We can't let this great coach go!

Coach metzger changed the program around! He not only cared about his players, but also made sure students won the battle in the class room as well!

This man has definitely changed not only the culture of the Pinecrest Football program but the entire community. He's had a great impact on molding my siblings into the great men they're becoming today

Coach Metzger has brought so much more to this area than a winning football team. His passion for molding young boys into responsible adults is far more important than any win on the field. It is a shame that we find ourselves in the same situation we were in with Dr. Bob back in the summer. We need to focus on the real value he brings to this community and forget the nonsense surrounding these forms. Society needs the responsible adults he is mentoring these young men to be far more than we need a state football championship.

He has made a tremendous impact on our young men. More than any man I can think of in the past 20 years at Pinecrest.

What an extraordinary individual he is. Coach. Leader. Spiritual force. Role model. Positive influence. Great champion of young people. He's one in a million, and we are so very fortunate to have him at the helm. Let him continue to do what he does best: lift up our kids.
